I received Martha Stewart's Cupcakes book when it was first released in early June and I figured I would bake every recipe . . . eventually SOME DAY. Well, 4 weeks passed and I have not baked one single recipe from her book. I need to make more of an effort, doncha think?!
With this in mind, I welcome and invite you cupcake lovers to join me in this cupcake baking venture and bake with me from Martha's book on a monthly basis, we shall post and share our cupcake results.
I know you have your SMS, TWD, and DB's out there, but hopefully you can squeeze in a cupcake project, too. :)
It will be fun. If you are interested, please contact me via comment or email and will add you to the blog roll.
If I get 10 or more bloggers, I will initiate and manage the Martha Stewart's Cupcake (aka MSC) monthly group.
Buy the book, check it out, and share your ideas and thoughts.

I love the idea of baking from this book but I'm not sure I could commit to posting every week since I have already committed to TWD and SMS. I'm going to think about it and will get back to you soon! Even if I can't do it, I hope enough people respond that you'll start the group as I'd love to see your posts on these treats!

I have the book and i flagged a bunch i want to bake too. I made one already... and it was just OK.

Unfortunately, I'm already over-extended, but I look forward to seeing all the delicious results!
I'd love to do this...but with a new baby, it's hard to commit right now...in a few months when you're fighting off new members with a stick, I'll be back to join in the fun.
Seems like some bloggers are interested . . . as long as it's MONTHLY instead of WEEKLY. That works for me as well.
Once I get everyone's feedback and preferences before the end of this month, I will send out notifications on the final plan.

Monthly, dollface..!! I watched a recent MS Cupcake show and some of the recipes are intriguing, BUT they are time consuming. Intriguing though. Props for visuals too. I'm game for monthly! XO.

I've backed a couple of recipes. i don't have a blog but funny enough thought about doing this with a cousin and posting on facebook. I'd be intersted in doing this if it were once a month. also i'd certainly START a blog just for this :) please let me know if there is still room!

I bought this book a few weeks ago - and so far, have made at least 5 different cupcakes from it. And so far, they've all been GREAT!! Sure, I'll do it too - but can we pick our own recipe, versus everyone making the same thing?

I'm interested. I did one of the Tuesdays with Dorie recipes but couldn't keep up weekly. I signed up for Daring Bakers and Daring Cooks and was NOT interested in the "cuisine" they were making.
